I often get asked what music I use in my classes. I especially enjoy it when people try to sing the song they think they heard (and it wasn’t one I played in class).
Much to the horror of some yoga teachers I think music can be beneficial to a yoga practice. Hopefully the music sets a nice tempo and is enjoyable and non-distracting. I try to make playlists that don’t require me to fuss with the volume or change tracks, but it does happen, especially when a class doesn’t go as I thought it would.
I actually have a really large collection of music that I spend far too much time organizing. Now I use Google music and recently subscribed to the unlimited plan. Wow there’s a ton of good music available!
I try to update my playlists every month or so. I’ll come back to this page and try and point out a few artists and albums that I like. Stay tuned for more information as I publish a few of my playlists for people to check out.
